January 2025 - Train Spotting.

 Me and my friend continued our exploration of japan with a... train station. I admit, I do not know why this place is famous, but it had photos of the real location, as well as an art contest that only had art of the station. It seems that this is a beloved train station. We arrived and began exploring, immediately, I noticed that they had a mascot anime girl who was extremely photogenic. They also had a free avatar section, a water tower you can climb to the top of, and a pool table within the station.

My friend challenged me to a game of pool which soon became heated, of course I won, but as we were playing, a sudden surge of 10+ Japanese people flooded into the room and began watching us play. They were extremely interested in the game between two british idiots flailing and cheering after every shot. Eventually one of them spoke and said 'hello' I responded in kind and the young sounding man then said they 'cannot speak english' and so that conversation was extremely short. I gave them a thumbs up, called them 'cool' and they ran off to tell their friends I called them cool in a very excited manner.

Me and my friend explored the inside of the train, seeing all of the photos and art of the station, and then we found ourselves in a bush, surrounded by the people from before who all looked at us and spoke to one another as if we were alien creatures. It was quite the experience.
