January 2025 - Wuhu Island.

Next up on the locations I visited is Wuhu Island, a location from Wii Sports Resort that housed all of the mini games playable within the resort. This island is a nostalgia trip for all Nintendo fans. I explored the entire island on foot and met some interesting people who were quick to have a laugh and talk to someone new. After a lot of walking around, taking photos, I made my way to the volcano and met a man who had encyclopedic knowlege about the island. He quickly became my tour guide and explained each location in detail.

As we were walking and talking, there was an explosion in the distance, by the harbour. We immediately went to see what was going on. As it turns out, there is a functioning plane on the map that is incredibly hard to control. This plane can explode if it crashes into something, and there was a large group of people fighting over the single working plane.

I was able to make my way through the crowd and hopped into the plane... And crashed it. As it turns out, yes, it is incredibly hard to control. We all still had a laugh however, and we all took turns crashing the plane. It was through this that I was able to make two new friends. In the end, we went to an empty world and practiced the plane controls over and over again until we mastered them.

Once I was confident with flying the plane, we started accepting passangers for flight tours. Taking people around the island and allowing them to take photos from up high. This was a very night.
